Well hello beautiful
I’m here with another lipstick review. Today I’m reviewing the Too Faced La Creme Lip Creams in 5 permanent shades. I guess you can tell that I’m obsessed with lip products because most of my reviews are primarily lip stuff. I bought these lip creams at my local Dillard’s during their Black Friday 50% off sale so you know I had to take advantage of it. Keep reading for more information on these Lip Creams and my honest thoughts and opinions about them.
WHAT IS IT? The Too Faced La Creme Lip Creams is formulated with the moisture of a lip balm in a pigment-saturated, one-swipe formula. La Creme includes White Lotus Flower Extract, which is a sought after antioxidant that contains hydrating, soothing and lip-conditions properties; and Power Peptides, which are known to stimulate collagen and aid in the appearance of smoother lips. — I’m reviewing the colors: Stiletto Red (classic red), Fuchsia Shock (fuchsia pink), Coral Fire (coral red), Cinnamon Kiss (spiced brown), and Spice Spice Baby (pinky brown).
PRICE: $21.00 USD for 0.11oz/3g

PIGMENTATION: I didn’t know what to expect from these lip creams because I never really took the time to try them out and I always seem to have overlooked them in passing. After testing these out, I found them to be buildable with medium opacity. These lip creams are formulated with a balm-like texture so it totally makes sense to have medium to buildable coverage. The pigment is perfect in my opinion because you can have a subtle lip color or a highly saturated one based on how many coats you apply.
TEXTURE: The texture lives up to what it is described as: smooth, balmy and hydrating. These lip creams are so comfortable to wear and feels so luxurious on my lips. Because of the balmy texture, these lip creams do not feel like lipstick but more so a balm. I will reapply just to feel the luxurious texture on my lips… weird, I know!
APPLICATION: The application of the lip creams is easy to apply. They are saturated with color and doesn’t bleed without a lip liner. I also found these lip creams to have a subtle scent of vanilla or frosting or something of that sort. Too Faced makeup always smell so delicious. I absolutely love the formulation of these lip creams because they make my lips look so smooth and look so youthful. You’ll see what I mean in the lip swatches I did below…
PACKAGING: The packaging is unique in itself; the gold metal casing make these lip creams look luxurious, fancy, playful and so feminine. It’s not flashy and it’s not boring so the packaging appeals to many beauty addicts all over the world. Besides the formulation of these lip creams, the packaging may be the reason that I’ll start to collect them all one-by-one because they look amazing on my vanity.
LASTING POWER: So there are no claims that these lip creams are supposed to last long so I had no expectations of these to last a long time. These lip creams don’t last super long but does stay on for quite some time; 2-3 hours max before reapplication. The shine disappears after eating or drinking but the color lasts for 2-3 hours. I honestly don’t mind reapplying these lip creams because they just feel amazing on my lips and makes them feel re-hydrated all over again. Can you tell I’m in love with the formula? It’s incredible!
