I got to try a new foundation!
In the past few weeks I was sent quite a few complexion products to try courtesy of Influenster. If you don’t know what Influenster is, it’s a box filled with full-sized products to review and keep. You don’t have to be a blogger to join, you simply need to have active social media accounts and you’ll be qualified to try new products. 🙂
In this post, you will see me using the new Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in a video that I posted on Instagram. I will also give you some of my honest thoughts about the foundation at the end of the post if you’re curious.
What is it?
The Milk Blur Liquid Matte Foundation ($40 USD) blurs pores and fine lines to provide weightless full coverage. It’s vegan, oil-free, and silicone-free and glides right onto the skin with the Dab + Blend Applicator ($14 USD) for a smooth, matte finish that looks and feels as light as air. Available in 16 shades at MilkMakeup.com
I’ve used this foundation quite a lot after receiving it to try and I’m very impressed with the overall application and coverage. The amount I applied onto the Dab + Blend Applicator in the video is actually way more than what is needed. Trust me when I say that a little goes a very long way because it truly does with this foundation.
I’ve also applied the foundation with various applicator/tools like foundation brushes and beauty blenders and everything seems to work well with the foundation. Although I have to mix two shades to get the foundation to match my skin tone, I still love how weightless and full coverage this foundation is. This foundation is a matte foundation but doesn’t leave my face looking dry which is fantastic. Lastly, if you are sensitive to scent I want to note that there is a slight citrus scent that I’ve noticed each time I appled it to my face. The scent doesn’t linger for long but it’s definitely noticeable upon application.
YES! If you’re looking for a foundation that will give you weightless full coverage that applies effortlessly this is a great foundation to try. As I mentioned earlier, a little goes a long way with this foundation so your monies will also stretch a long way too.
