Let’s take a peek at the process of getting eyelash extensions shall we? A very good friend of mine, Madeline Borrego (the beautiful woman you see in the photos), had the opportunity to get her first-ever eyelash extensions with Amazing Lash Studio here in Lakeline Market in Austin, TX (check for a location near you). She documented her experience at the Amazing Lash Studio and took some photos that she was kind enough to share with us.
Here is Madeline’s documentation of her first experience of getting eyelash extensions at the Amazing Lash Studio:
“The process was quite relaxing! First I laid down on their comfy chairs and then they offered me a blanket to stay warm throughout the process. After that, my stylist coated my lashes with a cleanser to dissolve any makeup residue left on my lashes and jumped right into applying an adhesive under my eyes and lids to keep my eyes in place for a precise lash application. Then she precisely applied one lash at a time to get the look I wanted… The process took about two hours to complete but if you think of every single lash my stylist had to apply, that’s a lot of work!
The studio was extremely clean with a contemporary, appealing appearance. I was very impressed and wanted to revisit the studio because of how cute and stylish the decor was! At Amazing Lash Studio, clients are able to pick and choose how they want their lashes (leaving us with total control of the look). Did I mention that I got the desired look I wanted which exceeded my expectations if not MORE! I enjoyed the overall look and appearance of my eyelash extensions!”
Here’s a little about the maintenance of the eyelash extensions that is good to know:
Madeline’s customized lashes!
“When getting eyelash extensions you should know that they require a bit of maintenance to keep them looking as good as they do; it is quite normal. I found that by washing my face more delicately, I could prolong the time before a refill was needed to keep my lashes as full as I wanted them to be. Since it took some time for me to get used to the eyelash extensions, I had a slight problem with my lashes falling out before my refill (two weeks following my initial appointment). However, this is normal and the reason why those with lash extensions need to get them filled every two-three weeks.”
*Did you know that our natural eyelashes fall off every 45 – 60 days? It happens due to the natural growth cycle of our eyelashes. That’s so interesting!
Madeline’s Before & After Photos!
“I would definitely recommend others to get lash extensions, because the results are awesome. Eyelash extensions are great for everyone, but may be more suitable for those who want to amplify their lashes or simply for those who don’t want to worry about putting on makeup during the day. You can leave the house looking glam with just eyelash extensions that look like your own!
I also would recommend getting your eyelash extensions done at Amazing Lash Studio if there is one near you! I already recommended my girlfriends to go there because my experience was fabulous and the studio is so chic and girly! I love everything about that place!”
That was quite refreshing to learn more about the eyelash extension process. Stay tuned for another post of Madeline’s follow-up “refill” appointment and how it went! The Amazing Lash Studio (ALS) also has an amazing introductory offer of $79.99 USD for your first set of lashes, so take advantage of that while the offer is valid. Since the holiday season is right around the corner, you can also give an ALS gift card to someone who will benefit from getting pampered with new eyelash extensions! ♥ I trust Madeline’s judgment because she’s a lash fanatic and always has the best lashes! I may just give eyelash extensions a shot. What do you think about eyelash extensions and would you try it now? I want to hear from you in the comments below…
